JP.iltA uf. and office- wosUt Without the paperwork done in the office of our school, the school could not function properly, for it is this work that is part of the backbone of any school. Books and the issuing of books are another important part of this backbone. For without these, our academic life would be dull and un- interesting. Doing one of her many routine jobs of the day is Mrs. Donna Best, of the office staff. Telephones ringing, answering ques- tions ... all these are just a days work for Mrs. Kay Kippe. Forms and letters to be typed for new school business, administrators, and students—How does Mrs. Mary English keep up? 19

Getting lost in our school is certainly a humorous incident to new teachers, Mrs. Ernestine Carter and Mr. Donald Thornburg. Mrs. Mildred Matthews, our school nurse, writes out an excuse for a sick student. Mrs. Anne Mooney, cafeteria man- ager, and Mrs. Myrtle Wetenhall. 20
