Organizing the council, undertaking new responsi- bilities, and working with the faculty to solve the problems of establishinga new school kept the group occupied this first year. In a surprise ceremony at convocation, the Vanguard Chapter ofthe National Honorary Society was organized under the guidance of Mr, Robert Wade.
