Each classroom has a wall of windows and rows of ceiling fluorescent lights which make the dullest day bright, Nearly every hue of the rainbow is used in the many color combinations throughout the building thus making every area bright and cheerful. Recessed spotlightsin the ceiling of the lobby givea beau- tifulglowing effect on the terrazzo floors especially inthe eve- ning, Distance was shortened, however, by the use of the public address system installed in the office, Utilizing the inter-com for announcements or a summons to the telephone saved many steps, During the noon hour either the radio or record player trans- mitted music into the lunchroom and gym, Also, after school, those people working on the extra cur- ricular activities especially appreciated their favorite hit tunes while they worked.
