Classmates and Friends: This eventful day marks the termination of four happy years at Southwestern. Our class day represents more than just a day of festivities -it is our final gathering as a class. It seems like only yesterday when we, as mere freshmen, entered the portals of South- western. We have worked hard to overcome the difficult problems that confronted us as we strove to reach one goal-graduation. Our hearts grow sad as we realize that now we must separate. For many of us. schooling will end here, while others will further their formal education. But whatever road we may take. I feel confident that we shall overcome all obstacles that stand in the way of success. ln behalf of my classmates, I wish to express my thanks to Colonel Clark for his hne leadership. and to Mrs. Wilson and Mr. Ryan. who have sacrificed much to help make our senior year a happy and memorable one. My thanks also go to the teachers and students who helped make our class day successful. My classmates. I cannot thank you enough for the honor that you have bestowed upon me.
