His main class room duty is American History. He lists golf and football as his hobbies. He earned his BS in Education Degree at Pittsburg State University. He is married to Paula, who is employed at the bank. Jennie Edens, women' s coach, lists outdoor activi - ties and music as her hobbies. Miss Edens is looking forward to her summer activities, managing the Plains swimming pool and teaching tumbling in the summer recreation program. Mr. Mark Webb showing off his gun collection is the head girls’ basketball and both girls' and boys' tennis coach. He enjoys flying, hunting, fishing, and farm- ing for his father-in-law (quite an outdoorsman). He received his BA Degree at Southwestern College in Winfield. He is married to Marilyn, and they have one son (who is said to be his pride and joy). 12

Mrs. Mary Krause enjoys knitting, canning, music and working crossword puzzles. Mrs. Krause received her degree from Knox College of Galesbury, Illinois. Mrs. Krause and her farmer husband Marvin have three children. BUSINESS AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION Don Brown, staunch OU supporter, lists OU and SWH sports as his hobby. His farming operation near Beaver takes a lot of his weekends and summertime. Mr. Brown's wife Rae is a teacher's aide at the Plains grade school. Mrs. Jean Johnson, business instructor, and her husband Jack, physical education instructor and coach are pictured with their camper. Both received their degree at Northwestern State. Both enjoy reading and Jack is trying to get Jean started playing golf. 11

SCIENCE AND MATH Mr. Gary Carson is showing his two sons his farming ability. He's head boys basketball and girls and boys track coach. He enjoys water skiing and carpentry. He received his BS Degree in Physical Education at Kansas State University. He is married to Carol, who is also employed at the high school as a secretary. Mr. Ed Rush, Science teacher, lists his hobbies as camping and fishing. He' s shown here as the family handy man. He received from the University of North- ern Colorado his MS Degree. He's married to Leona, who is a teacher's aid at Kismet, and they have two girls. Mr. Dale Currier, our Math teacher, enjoys golfing in his spare time. Whenever he's not at school, you can be sure to catch him on the golf course, as we did. 13
