BETTER STUDENTS Mr. D.J. Miller is the principal of Southwestern Heights. He graduated from Northwestern State with a BA and received his Masters Degree from Wichita State University. He's pictured here enjoying his favorite hobby, golf. He is married to Verna Jean who teaches second grade at Plains Grade School. They have three children. Mr. Harold Jantzen, principal of the Kismet Grade School, and Mr. Weldon Allen, principal of the Plains Grade School, are instrumental in the planning of the goals and objectives of USD 483.

B. Lee, Jr. Howard Gray, USD 483 su- perintendent, served his professional organization the Kansas Association of School Administrators as president during the 1977-78 term. VARIOUS GOALS AIMED AT BY STAFF ENGLISH DEPT Clifford Thomas, here shown in his dark room, re- ceived his BA and MA at Northwestern State Universi- ty. He's married to Karan and has four children, Cin- dy, Kathy, Cheryl and Kris. Macrame, skiing and bowling are some of the hob- bies of Mrs. Carole Eisiminger. Mrs. Eisiminger re- ceived her degree from Ft. Hays State. She is librarian of SWH and mother of two. Mrs. Mary Brown enjoys reading historical novels and poetry. She recently completed her Masters Degree at Ft. Hays State. Mrs. Brown is married to Ron Brown and has two children. 10
