SWGSB THE OBJECTIVE OF THE SOUTHWESTERN GRADUATE SCHOOL OF BANKING IS TO DEVELOP A BROAD PERSPECTIVE OF THE BANKING PROFESSION WHILE OFFERING SPECIALIZED STUDY IN BANK MANAGEMENT. THE SCHOOL PROVIDES ADVANCED TRAINING FOR EXECUTIVE PERSONNEL FROM BANKS OF ALL SIZES IN ALL PARTS OF THE COUNTRY. THE COURSE OF STUDY EMPHASIZES BASIC POLICY AND MANAGEMENT PROBLEMS AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF DEEPER UNDERSTANDINGS OF THE ECONOMY WITHIN WHICH THE BANKING SYSTEM OPERATES. IT IS THE INTENTION OF THE SCHOOL TO MAKE ALL THE BANK OFFICERS' EXPERIENCES IN THE SCHOOL CONTRIBUTE TO THEIR TOTAL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. I2

Administration The Southwestern Graduate School of Banking is co-sponsored by the Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio Clearing House As- sociations, Southern Methodist University, and the Arkansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas Bankers Associations. Since the School was founded in 1957, enrollment has increased from 200 to over 600 in 1973, with 29 states, Puerto Rico, and Mexico represented.
