SWGSB THE OBJECTIVE OF THE SOUTHWESTERN GRADUATE SCHOOL OF BANKING IS TO DEVELOP A BROAD PERSPECTIVE OF THE BANKING PROFESSION WHILE OFFERING SPECIALIZED STUDY IN BANK MANAGEMENT. THE SCHOOL PROVIDES ADVANCED TRAINING FOR EXECUTIVE PERSONNEL FROM BANKS OF ALL SIZES IN ALL PARTS OF THE COUNTRY. THE COURSE OF STUDY EMPHASIZES BASIC POLICY AND MANAGEMENT PROBLEMS AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF DEEPER UNDERSTANDINGS OF THE ECONOMY WITHIN WHICH THE BANKING SYSTEM OPERATES. Dedication As he approached retirement after a dis- tinguished career in Banking, Murray Kyger responded to the appeals of friends and be- came Dean for Bankers of Swigsbie in 1971. During his two years as Dean, he guided reorganization of the administration of the School and contributed to the development of the Foundation and its companion activities, including The Assemblies for Bank Directors. Thereby he assured the continuity, financial integrity, and administrative coherance of our School, and provided security for continued progress of all of the Foundation's programs, including Swigsbie. The students, alumni, and faculties of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking are deeply in his debt for these major contributions.
