An effective method of identification which is rapidly growing in acceptance is the use of a distinctive emblem, insignia, or logotype in bank advertising. The Yearbook Committee feels that the various selections contained in this publication are representative of the current trend in this use. We wish to acknowledge our sincere appreciation to those contributing banks whose cooperation and approval made this proj- ect possible. Yearbook Committee CHAIRMAN : Bill D.
