To a teacher who can be looked upon at all times for sound advice and encouragement; a friend who has devoted valuable time, limitless effort, and never-ending energy to the students and to the development of Southwestern Tech- nical Institute. He taught one of the first Classes ra tame. Le leanne masonry class, and in the process helped build the first class- room building on cam- pus. Then, he under- took the building of a basketball team, and developed a winning team. The profits of his daring to be “the first” have not been personal. Rather, the students have profited along with the reputation of this institution. To you, Mr. Searcy, not only as a coach and teacher, but as a friend, we of Southwestern Technical Institute dedicate. this annual to you. DEDICATION JAMES SEARCY
