I1 Timothy 4:15 In our rapidly developing society, the demand for academic excellence increases steadily. Over five million young people in the United States are enrolled in college. With increase in scientific developments, Chris- tian young people must also develop intellectually in order to fulfill their responsibilities as American citizens and to appreciate our democratic heritage. The faculty at Southwestern strive to stimulate intellectual curiosity and eagerness for lifelong learning in their students while up- holding the doctrines of our faith which are so dear to us.
