DEPARTMENT UF BUSINESS Mrs. Nicholson, is shown teaching accounting class. The Christian man or woman preparing himself for a place in the business world finds a very adequate and efficient business department at Southwestern Bible Institute. This department offers four specifications: General Business, Administration, Account- ing, Secretarial Science and Business Education. Students may prepare themselves for a baccalaureate degree from a senior college by taking a program especially designed for this purpose. BIBLE ANU g A program is offered in the Bible Department, for those wishing to major in Bible, leading to a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree. Emphasis is placed on the direct study of the Bible. The classes are designed to develop an understanding and interpretation of the doctrines of the Bible. The department seeks to show the harmony and close association of the books of the Bible. So instrumental in Biblical study is the knowledge of Biblical Languages. EDUCATION AND PSYCHOLOGY The Department of Education and Psychology has as its objective to prepare the students to be successful pastors, evangelists, teachers, and workers in the capacity God has chosen for them. A program is offered to prepare a student to transfer to a senior college to complete Work on a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree.
