The depart- ment has advanced exceedingly and is still advancing under 'his capable leadership. Rice, has made effective use of her ability in both instrumental and voc- al fields of music. LANE It would be impossible to evaluate Sister Lane's service to us. The results of his labors as seen in the efficiency of his students is sure proof of his capableness. We greatly appreciate his talent but more so his deep spiritual conse- cretion. DELMORE HILL The Christian character of Del- more has been greatly appreciated by all who know him. He has been a blessing to the school not only through his musical talent but also through his consecrated life. E LINORA BROOKS Her service in the music depart- ment has been a great blessing to S. B. I. We have appreciated not only her musical talent but her joy- ful personality and consecration to the Lord. WS 4 NORMA SIMS Our hearts have been lifted many times into heavenly atmospheres by the beautiful and gracious music of the violin as played by Sister Sims. As a teacher her ability to play is paralleled by her ability to impart this wonderful talent to others.

Everywhere she goes her smile goes with her. Many hearts have been gladdened and bur- dens made lightei' by nothing more than her smile as she goes about her task as Recreation Director. MARY NELL DANIEL, B. S. Her life has truly been a blessing to the students of Southwestern. She has been a true friend to us and we pray that God's richest blessings will be hers in the future.
