To show what Hill students do on a typi- cal Friday night, the PEDAGOG photographer fol- lowed Pat Galyean and 'lim Steck, who have been dat! ing over a year. l Western Dance Hank Thompson provided music for cowgirls and cowboys at the Wfestern Dance. Even though there had been four days of festivities, the Sat- urday night dance was the highlight of the West- ern celehration. Everyone seemed to have con- served their energy for there were no sit-outs. The highlight of the dance was, of course, the pre- sentation of the Frontier Royalty. The pie-eating contests were as messy as usual. The Geesinslaws entertained at the dance Hank Thompson, the Brazos Valley Boys and Jody Merrideth pro- vided music for dancing and listening. i iii iii 13
