'I N- , W ' -IPAQ., GN 'S. ,: Fellow Students, In this the school year of 1950-1951 many changes have taken place here at Southwest Texas State, not only in the physical plant of the college, but in the student body as well. Many old friends have left and new ones enrolled. The con- struction of new building has begun and plans have been made for others. We, your staff, have tried to show the school year in the best way possible. We have left out things. yes, but then we think the typical and important things are recorded in this your 1951 PHDAGOG. For many months we have planned, made layouts, and written copy but now this book is no longer ours, it's yours. Your appreciation will be reward enough. For many of us this year will be our last school year for some time. May we all remember the many things we have learned and the pleasure we have had in receiving this knowledge. I, the editor, and my staff feel proud in dedicating this 1951 PEDAGOG to the many students who have left our campus and to those who will go soon to defend our coun- try.
