Homecoming 1980 The student body elected the court for Homecoming 1980, selecting one of the finest courts in SMJC’s 50 years. Vivian Reynolds of Gillsburg was se¬ lected as Homecoming Queen. Miss Reynolds was escorted by SGA president Donnie Ward. Her court included: Student body maid Niece Sterling of Gloster, who was es¬ corted by Donald Seale, Debra McClen¬ don of Gillsburg and Debra Reeves of Li¬ berty. They were escorted by Carl Moak and Jimmy Stephenson. Freshman maids were Barbara and Mary Bass of New Roads, Louisiana. Barbara’s escort for the evening was Wallace Hamilton and Mary’s Curtis Hughes. The football team selected Wanda Dupre was escorted by Cliff Reid. Even the rain didn’t dampen the spirits of the 1980 Homecoming court. Debra McClendon doesn’t let the rain spoil her parade. President Horace Holmes crowns Vivian Reynolds queen 1980 while escort, Donnie Ward, flower girl Dana Michelle Young and crown bearer, Jesse Reyn¬ olds watch.
