Huddleston, the President of Southwest Junior College, was grad¬ uated from Arkansas College with a B.A. degree and from the University of Arkansas with an M.A. degree. He has worked and fought for Southwest Mississippi Junior College for the past nineteen years, and he has done much to make our school the very heart of southwestern Mississippi. For this we thank President Huddles¬ ton and wish him the best of luck and life for the future. 22 Jerry Reid—Dean of Student Personnel, In¬ structor of Mathematics and Head Football Coach—has been with the Administrative body °f Southwest Junior College for eleven years. He was graduated from S.M.J.C. and received his B.A. and M.Ed. degrees from the Universi¬ ty of Southern Mississippi. Vice-President, Instructor of Psychology, Dean—Yes, Horace Holmes is very much a part of our school. He was graduated from Jones County Junior College and received his B.S. and M.A. degrees from the University of Southern Miss. Dean Holmes has helped guide our school for the past eighteen years and for his leadership we are deeply grateful. 23 Bill Quin holds the title of Busi¬ ness Manager. He was graduated from S.M. It was a dream, a name, a choice, and a fear. It will ultimately be a memory of classes and clocks, of books and bells, of lectures and friends. A memory of lines, loves, labs, coffee, Rook, football and cheering, singing, voting, and finals. A memory of happiness—a memory of sadness—a memory of being for a moment a member of a class now gone forever. This was SMJC ... A MEMORY OF OUR HURRIED YOUTH. But perhaps this annual named Today can preserve for you glimpses of that youth. I wish to thank my supervisor, Mrs. Craig, and my staff for their effort in making this publication a reality.
