Our President Mr. H. T. Huddleston, our President, is known by all as a capable ad¬ ministrator and loyal friend. Besides his many set duties, he finds time to pep up pep sessions, speak at assemblies, attend sporting events, and co¬ ordinate the school ' s activities. President Huddleston, a native of Fayetteville, Arkansas, received his B. A. degree from Arkansas College and his M. A. degree from the University of Arkansas. 4

We are proud of SMJC. We are proud of her high standards, her acade¬ mic achievements, and her athletic honors. Together in the classroom we bow our heads to pray realizing that we are truly blessed in having such a splendid junior college school system. The 1964 Whispering Pine attempts to capture in words and pictures one year of our love and loyalty, striving to illustrate the ideals and traditions which gives the pattern of Southwest its strength and quality.
