To do The Whispering Pines justice took the co-operation and hard work of many.Among these are Ann, Jim, Oliver, Dale, Beri¬ me Lee, and the other members of my staff. The atmosphere on the Southwest campus this year favorably influenced everyone. School spirit prevailed; it was apparent in all phases of school life. School spirit means all-out effort, both on the ath¬ letic field and the class room; school spirit means co-operation between faculty and students; school spirit means friendliness, with a cheery hello and a kind deed; school spirit means pride in our work and our school. In earnest hope it may continue to thrive on our campus, we of the annual staff dedicate the 1963 WHISPERING PINES to SCHOOL SPIRIT.
