Founded on the site of old health resort it still maintains its natural beauty amidst numerous shrubs and stately trees. Lying south of a 5 acre lake, the campus is surrounded by 540 acres of pasture and farmland. The newly rent.voted auditorium, classrooms, cafeteria and dormi tories make for a most desirable place to live. The new lights in the dormitories and the quietness of our library is superb. Students work together in the keeping of good study habits. Stu¬ dents that have work scholarships do their work with great enthusiasm. The work of our dietitian is hard but the outcome is most enjoyable. Football, intra¬ mural and competitive basketball and various other sports are enjoyed at Southwest. Fishing and hunting provide outdoor activities for others. The theaters in town give off campus ac¬ tivities while dances with music by our own dance orchestra and holiday dinners are looked forward to on campus.
