The Baptist Student Union sponsors a daily devotional period and a vesper service each Thursday night. Its main purpose is to guide the individual toward the quest for a high concept of religion and its prac¬ tical application to daily living. Among the many jobs assigned the council members are the planning of parties, the securing of guest speakers, and the planning of religious services. The Home Economics Club is affiliated with the state and national organization. It strives to develop lead¬ ership and initiative on the part of each individual. The annual Christmas tea and Spring Dinner are two projects that are planned each year in honor of the girl graduates, and to offer experience and training for all concerned.
