It brings to the student the motivating power of a lifelong purpose and a nationwide outlook It is designed to develop ideals and power in the lives of its members; to enrich the spirit of college life; to advance the in¬ terests ot tne teaching profession; to pro¬ mote the welfare of the children; and to foster the education of all the people. It enables a student to have four years of pre¬ liminary preparation plus four years of def¬ inite training during college years for pro¬ fessional leadership. Officers of the F. T. OjfjficesiA President: Alton Burris, Jr. Secretary and Treasurer: Rodney Barr Reporter: Bob Rollins This Club is under the direction of Mr. J. J. Lindley. It is one of the most progressive clubs on the Campus. It is composed primarily of students studying Agriculture. The Club’s main purpose is to train its members to be leaders in their field af¬ ter graduation. This organization sponsors various projects for the purpose of improving the agricul¬ ture facilities for the college. The outstanding ob¬ jective this year is to acquire an Ayrshire breed of cattle.
