9K WHISPERING TINES IN MEMORIAM This page dedicated to the memory of DAVID SHELDON REEVES Born.August 21, 1902 Died.February 15, 1938 Mr. Reeves entered Pike County Agricultural High School in Sep¬ tember 1918 as a charter member of the first student body. He was a fine, upstanding student, made a fine record as an athlete, and was beloved by all of his teachers. He later attended Millsaps College, but due to the press of circum¬ stances he did not finish. He married one of Pike Aggie ' s fine girls, Miss Thelma Walker, and to this union two fine boys were added. Six years ago Mr. Reeves was appointed to the Board of Trustees of Southwest Junior College by the Board of Supervisors and served continuously until his death. At the time of his death he was a valued employee of the State Highway Department. We, the Board of Trustees, and J. M. Kenna, President, wish to pay tribute to the worth of our comrade, and to express our profound sorrow at his untimely passing. “The work that he did testifies for him.
