Shall We Dance Une, Two, Three Modern dance depends upon the ability of the body to move in a con- trolled manner in a variety of ways. Dancing expresses human emotions and experiences, particularly the spiritual meaning. This year, modern dance per- formed in various events, including Eagle's Fling, an assembly in Febru- ary, and a show in May. Under the direction of Ms. Lori Merker, three modern dance classes learned such techniques as plies, leaps, and grapevines.
