Artists at Heart The National Art Honor Society lN.A.H.S.l, sponsored by Ms. Rita Touzet, decorated our school with its creations. The club, which met twice a week, provided Southwest and the community with a variety of ser- vices. N.A.H.S. sponsored the annual art show and also sent a student teacher , to Miami Chi1dren's Hospital. Quill Sz Scroll Quill 81 Scroll is an honors club, made up of students with either two years of journalism or yearbook. Their meetings are held after every publication of the Lancer. Throughout the year, it had fun- draisers such as selling bagels and buttons. Its goal was to raise 5 l ,O O 0 for their main function, which was the publication of the Lancer. Any extra money was used for the jour- nalism and yearbook's trip to New York.
