The purpose of the organization is to provide additional opportunities for secondary stu- dents in business and office educa- tion. Club dedication and hard work has paid off for the FBLA members at Southwest. Func- tions involved in these fields includ- ed sales promotions, operations, and marketing research. D.E.C.A. was the only youth organization in America that had as its main goal, the development of future leaders in marketing and distribution through a series of competitive events and group activities on the local, state, and national levels.
