We Mean Business C.B.E. fCooperative Business Edu- cationl kept busy in order to fulfill some major goals which were set at the beginning of the year. Selling bagels was a popular activ- ity for the C.B.E. members. This fun- draising project enabled these girls to attend the annual Business Edu- cation Breakfast with all the other Dade County schools. Another rewarding fund-raiser in which C.B.E. members engaged themselves was selling calendars and tumblers. The money raised from these projects went to the Abused Children's Home in Kendall. The C.B.E. organization ended its successful year with participation in the Office Occupation Skills Con- test, which helped to sharpen some skills, and the Employer-Employee Banquet, which honored those who helped C.B.E. members throughout the year. Developing good typing skills depends on each student's amount of determination. Just by looking at Zena Pruna's face, you can see she will succeed. 18 SXCLUBS , 4 I HY 6 I Working diligently on her assignment, Mari de la Cruz concentrates on not making any errors. Typing isn't just memorizing where letters are located. Cheryl knows that it involves adding and subtracting so word placement is correct.
