- t, ational Honor Having and maintaining a 3.6 average may have been impossible to achieve for some students, but for the members of National Honor So- ciety, it was just a way of life. Its many activities included tutor- ing, helping out at local hospitals, and running the school bookstore. National Honor Society was spon- sored by Ms. Gretchen Hankins. Of- ficers include: Helena Solo, presi- dent, Angel Leal, vice president, Mercy Gonzalez, treasurer, Lee Op- penheimer, sergeant-at-arms, Lisa Chase, secretaryg and Michael Prada, Historian.
