Roger Cooper is looking for damage. Working Hard Aside from fun and friends, students real- ized that in order to make good grades and eventually get into college, they had to work hard. By doing so, students achieved their ultimate goal: learning. Homework was stressed by most teachers, but so was taking advantage of class time. Some students even worked overtime and took a seventh period during the day. Others attended night school. Throughout the year, we filled our days with action- packed activities and shared good times with people we liked. Whether walking through hallways, talking with friends, or sitting in classes, we tried to look on the bright side of things. We also subjected ourselves to quality events and peo- ple. Homecoming, football games, and banquets were part of the thrill. ln the meantime, our peers cracked jokes, told stories, and played tricks on each other.
