Roger Cooper is looking for damage. Working Hard Aside from fun and friends, students real- ized that in order to make good grades and eventually get into college, they had to work hard. By doing so, students achieved their ultimate goal: learning. Homework was stressed by most teachers, but so was taking advantage of class time. Some students even worked overtime and took a seventh period during the day. Others attended night school.
