Student Bod fficers Within Southwest one can find many leaders. The Student Council represents forty-five of these leaders. Four of these are the Student Body Officers. The President and Vice-President are elected by the student body, the Secretary and Treasurer are appointed by the President. These officers give guidance to the Student Council in all of its many projects. To hold one of these honored positions, one must be dedicated to all students at Southwest. STACY MEASURES The job of president brings many responsibilities. It is a position that requires total dedication and discipline. The President must have leadership qualities and be able to speak in front of people. While the position is trying, it also teaches self- determination and fairness. Stacy Measures is the Student Body President for 1981-1982. She has been in Student Council for four years. She attended the 1981 session Texas Girls State, received Who's Who Among American High School Students, and represented the students of Fort Worth on a committee at the Administration Building. She is also a member of the United High School Council, National Honor Society, Concerned Senior Girls, the Rebel Rousers, Annual Staff, and was a member of the Fort Worth Ballet Company from 1978 to 1980.
