S-P-I-R-I-T Each week before a Varsity football game, stu- dents gather together to support the football players and show their spirit. A pep rally was held after school each week during the football season to en- courage student participation and increase the en- thusiasm of fans who attended the games each week- end. All the classes competed for the coveted Spirit Stick which was awarded to the class yelling the loudest during a particular cheer. The band, cheer- leaders, and the students interacted to get everyone excited about the coming game, as well as getting the football players fired-upn to bring home a victory. More stu- dents dressed up and showed their enthusiasm than in recent years. Many students put on their most imaginative costume and dared to venture out into the real world of high school.
