Baby, you're a star Mot stars of this year This year brought many exciting stars to the screen and stereo, such as: Max Headroom, Bruce Willis, Carey Elwes, Robin Wright, Vanna White, Patrick Swaze, Keifer Sutherland, Charlie Sheen, Jennifer Grey, Jamie Gertz, Bill Cosby, Lisa Bonet. Malcom Jamal-Warner, Richard Dreyfus, Eddie Murphy, George Michael, Paul Simon, Hew Order, Michael Jackson, Bon Jovi, Tiffany, and Holly Hunter to name a few. Some of them were not so good and others were outstanding, nevertheless, the stars kept rolling in. Sting released his new album this year and Eddie Murphy gave his concert Raw. Good Morning Viet Mam proved to be a very funny movie and Roxanne was equally as funny starring two funny guys, Robin Williams and Steve Martin. 24

Spuds and Vanna White were almost an overnight success, their popularity grew enormously during this last year. Princess bride, a movie starring Robin Wright and Carey Elwes was a smash and Cher made a name for herself with the movie Moonstruck. Oprah Winfrey and Dolly Parton exercised their talents, having their own shows proved them to be successful. Mark Marrnon was quite a nice temporary addition loMoonllghting and his movie was, to say the least, interesting. 25
