CORONATION A tearful Kristm receives the crown Future king and queen? CORONATION n. Ceremony of investing a sovereign or his consort with the crown. Thursday evening we crowned Queen Kristen and King James. The stage was elaborate with fountains, lights and the royal mum plants. Susan Falk and Katie Nelson were most dignified as the evening's emcees. The program was kicked-off with the presentation of our Junior. Sophomore and Freshman attendents. Music and entertainment were provided by the Southwest Jazz Band. The House Rockers, 955 and our own Amy Young. Our returning 1985 Queen Laura and King Jeff carried out the honors and kept us on the edge of our seats with suspense. Thunderous applause was given in honor of the new 1986 Homecoming Court!! Everyone had a good laugh when King James good-naturedly picked -off 3 mums, while escorting Queen Kristen down the stairs. Coronation was a wonderful success and a pleasure for all those who attended!!! 15
