Staff members were chosen in the spring of 1967. For the first time juniors were selected to help the seniors. As the book's plans were made, the staff realized the amount of work it would toke to produce a permanent history of the school year. Everydoy after school the staff met to plan rough drafts, fill in dummy sheets, write copy, crop pictures, and complete triplicates. When the lost deadline was met, and the last post deadline party held, the Wagistanian staff reflected on their work. Each student and member of the administration is to the whole school as each link is to the chain. One link is just as important os the next, for if even one link is not strong enough to support the others, the unity is broken. During the 1967-68 school term both the administration and student body formed the integral links in the Southwest High School chain through co-operation in their endeavors. At Southwest all individuals . . constitute the links of an endless chain, from which not one can be detached without destroying the harmony of the whole. Friedrich Schoedler 9 7 . wwTr
