Honors diplomas were awarded to those students who achieved a 3.2 average. Ten of these sixty-three won top honors for having maintained at least a 3.75 average throughout high school. Three seniors qualified as semi-finalists in the national Merit Scholarship competition. Southwest can certainly be proud of the fine academic record of its 1967 graduates. 30
