Jim Ryan and Cathy Murphy sno-day The many activities of Senior Sno Day, February 5, 1965, began with the coronation of Sno-King Rick Rotsch. The King’s attendants were Tim Browning, Dave Caspcrsen, Don Oliver, and Bob Stanley. After the coronation, seniors displayed feats of skill in the tug of war, three-legged race, sled-pulling, and a broom-ball tournament. The highlight of the afternoon was a rag ball game between the senior boys and faculty men. The game ended in a highly disputed 4-2 victor)’ for the seniors. In the evening, the royal court and their subjects were entertained by the Indianettes during half-time activities of the SW-Vocational basketball game. Following the game, a senior dance was held featuring the music of Ken Kay and the Kambers.

 senior elections Pete Erickson really knocked himself out. To the theme of “Project 65”. the senior class staged its annual elections, complete with posters, noise, bands, and food. Officer candidates were Sterling Clarren and Marty Fisk—President: Paul Enstad and Mike Hart—Vice-President; Peggy Nelson and Betsy S] ettigue—Secretary; Andrea Norman and Terry Thompson—Treasurer. Seniors campaigned for their favorite candidates at a party in the auditorium Wednesday evening, November 4, 1964. Final speeches and voting took place the following morning, just two days after the national elections. Results were announced on Friday in senior homeroom by Bob Potter. “The nominations are closed!
