The Wagistanian staff has considered this question and decided that a yearbook’s purpose is to serve as a pictorial diary of the school year. OUR DEDICATION As Seniors we have many memories of our years at Southwest: outstanding among them is Mr. Adam. His friendly concern for each of us. his voluntary chaperonage of all our parties, and his riotous humor on the Washington trip have made lasting impressions on all of us. How many of us have been stopped in the halls by him with an interested question about our classes? When one of our Senior parties needed an adult’s presence, he came and contributed to the general fun. The jolting 24-hour train ride from Minneapolis to Washington. D.C.. was filled with jokes and games stimulated by him. Mr. Adam, in an attempt to show our appreciation, we dedicate the 1961 W’agistan-ian to you. A
