DEDICATION The Senior class wishes to dedicate the 1960 annual to creative impulses alive in all people. Firstly, to the artist who looks into and beyond reality in creating, who captures the imagination and emotion of his audience, and who helps us tq find relaxation in a world of turmoil. Then: to the engineer and designer who strive to combine function with aesthetic elements; to the writer who records, evaluates, and improves our society; to the scientist who discovers new means of bettering mankind; to the father and mother who create order and well-being in the home; to those people who bring worlds closer together; and lastly, to the creativity in you, for youth must meet the challenge of tomorrow.

TO THE GRADUATING CLASS OF I960: The modern world is demanding, as never before, the ability to think, —to be creative. The machine is taking over the routine tasks that require only thoughtless repetition. Today the hand is merely the helper to the brain. Creative thinking and confidence in one's ability to carry out his ideas are important ingredients of today's success. It is, therefore, very appropriate that the Class of 1960 has chosen creativity as the theme for its Wagistanian. Best of wishes, R. H. Classon 6
