Impressive Instrumentalists Under the leadership of the new director, Mr. Robert Olson, the band has had one of the most successful years since it began. The main objective of the band has been to try and finance $6,000 for new uniforms which they hope to have next fall. This year the band played at football games and put on some successful field shows. After playing at South- west Night and auditoriums, the spring concert climaxed their busy year. The orchestra, also under the direction of O. B. Dahle. consists solely of strings. Because of this it has stressed individual talent through small ensemble and solo pieces. For a better understanding of music, they studied harmony and writing original pieces. M. Ptashnc. 0. Wilson. B. Felder. R. Steffy. L. Forsmann. A. Tollefson. C. Steffy. Mr. Dohle. C 24 3
