Proud Pats!! Hard work, determination, and pure tal- ent were the key ingredients to the softball tearn's winning season, and the girls were awarded accordingly. Two sophomores, Shannon Huskins and Tara Hall , were selected as members of the All-Middle Geor- gia Softball Team. Pam Still, Melinda Hopper, Laura Justice, Jill Johnson, Lisa Howard, and Anne McCrary re- ceived Honorable Mention. At the Awards Banquet Most Valuable Player was Laura Justice for her consistent over-all perfor- mance. Lisa Howard and Shannon Hus- kins received Coaches' Awards because of their dedication, both on the field and in the classroom. Their tremendous accomplish- ments and outstanding achievements prove that practice does make perfect, and hard work does pay off! Q V' i 'Q ag. 5 T45 L 3 ff f if W ig 8' T f ,N was Impressive! The 1988 Lady Patriots had another im- pressive season, directed by Albert Sharpe, Eddie Ashley, and Iris Hill. They were a hardworking team full of determination, fin- ishing the year 14-7. The players always showed courage, sportsmanship, and a keen desire to win. Throughout the year the team was led by many gifted young players. Stephanie Walker averaged 18 points and 10 rebounds per game as she led the team to victory.
