International Exchange School announces the appointment of Mrs. Aurea Sugiyama and Miss Gwen Marie Sugiyama as counselors for the summer of 1976. Mrs. Sugiyama is an Adult Basic Education teacher at Chula Vista Adult School. In her capacity as counselor, she will be enrolling students from the San Diego area who want to study and travel in Europe this summer. Miss Gwen Marie Sugiyama, her daughter, will be working with her as co'-counselor, assisting her with all the responsibilities as counselor. Students traveling with Mrs. Sugiyama will leave on the first week of July for London, Venice, and their fourteen days Mediterranean cruise commences from there. With all the luxury of a cruise ship, the relaxed pace of life on board, eight exotic ports of call in Italy, Greece, Egypt, Lebanon, Israel, Turkey, and the Dalmation Coast--as well as visits to exciting European Cities, the CRUISE OF THE FOUR SEAS has long been one of our most popular and best remembered itineraries. Highlights of the trip include visits to the following cities and sights: Venice, Katakolm-Olympia, Alexandria, Beirut, Haifa, travel to Bahai Temple, Mount Carmel, Cave of Elijah, Sea of Galilee, Nazareth, Jerusalem, Mount Zion, King David's Tomb, Chamber of the Last Supper, Cavalrt, David's Tower, Walling Wall, Mount of Oliver, Kusadsi Ephesus, Athens, Parthenon, Acropolis, National Archeologi- cal Museum Dubrovnik. Students traveling with Mrs. Sugiyama will spend four weeks in study and travel, receiving three hours of college credit for successful completion of the course. While abroad, students will also attend opera, ballet and theater performances. Those wishing to enroll in a summer study program abroad may contact Mrs. Sugiyama at Chula Vista Adult School or call her home--423-4275. Call home evenings only. Other courses conducted abroad by International Exchange School, a world wide study- travel organization founded in 1965 include a Mediterranean Cruise and trip to Mexico.
