Freshmen Executive Board Row One: Veronica Harris, Cherise Harvey, Ann Winston, Leshadra Scott. Row Two: Joi Howard, Erica Young, Angellque Allen, Rochelle Sherman, Brandon Burke, Breck Ferguson. Row Three: Beth Defoor, Mark Davis, Shannon Tucker. by Kim Stevens The newest people on the SW scene are the class of 1991, the fresh- men. These bouncy neophytes popped into the picture resdy, willing, and able to take on the new life of high-school students. They confidently took on regular high-school class responsibilities, including their executive board, sponsored by Coach Richard Samuels. Cherise Harvey serves as this group's president followed by: La Kesha Weathers, vice president; Andrea Hooks, secretary; Veronica Harris, treasurer; and Razson White, sgt.-at-arms. The freshmen worked hard this year, their efforts producing a prize-winning float for the Homecoming Parade. The class of 1991 began anew in an exciting, different environ- ment full of new faces, new experiences and many new ideas. Not quite so used to the grueling, tortuous life which accompanies the typical high-school student, these students adapted well to the change in scenery and have come a long way this year. They've grown consis- tently since their first fretful day of school in September. The rest of their high-school years are yet to come, but soon they will be the senior class of 1991 and will be looking back at the freshmen of 1994. 16
