RED CROSS There are no hopeless situations, only men who have grown hopeless about them. This served as the theme for the Red Cross membership drive March 14-18. After increasing interest in the Red Cross with an assembly and a display case showing how membership money was used, the second semester staff began several worthwhile projects. One of their April projects was a window wash- ing session in the Plaza central parking lot. Shoppers returned to their cars to find notes saying, We took time to wash your windows, you take time to drive safely. The Sadie Hawkins dance, strategically schedul- ed three weeks before Prom, climaxed the second semes- ter activities on a note of success and enthusiasm.
