Debby Young ROTC Queen Valentines Day lent its traditional at- mosphere to this year's ROTC Ball. The dance, preceded by a delicious dinner at the Colden Ox, was held at the Temple Binai jehudah, where Miss Debby Young, Southwestis queen, and the queens of the other high schools marched with their escorts beneath crossed sa- bres. Serving as attendants to the queen were Marcia Bordinan, lane Bushfield, Linda Myers, Indy Sackin, julie Shep- herd, and Andie VVilli21ITlS. All who at- tended the ball felt that it was indeed one of the social highlights of this school year.

The social whirl started off in full swing with the Homecoming Dance. Transformed into an autumn Wonderland, the gymna- sium was crowded with loyal Indians. The dance was climaxed by tl1e crowning of the lovely queen, Marsha Arni, who was attended by Carol Coon, Dottie Dunlap, Sharrie Farrar, Andie NVilliams, Mary jo VVilliams, and Lucinda Young. It was agreed by all who were present that the 1958 Homecoming Dance was the greatest ever. Homecoming Is A Gala Event I ndzans really rock zt at the bzggest dance of the year.
