Every fall the senior class has the privilege of selecting twenty whom they consider the most capable leaders to act as their representatives on the Senior Business Committee. The members of the committee are organized into eight sub-com- mittees, and from their number are elected the class officers. While it is an honor, committee membership also entails a great amount of work, for this group is responsible for the sale of senior play tickets, the arrangements for the Junior- Senior Prom, the Baccalaureate service, the class gift to the school, and much of the planning for that long-awaited commencement ceremony. Our five years at Southwest have been both enjoyable and profitable, and we only hope that we may leave the school even greater than we found it. We look forward to the future, and yet we regret that we must leave. We shall always be proud to say that we are graduates of South- west.
