YOU ARE SOUTHWEST IF, AFTER school had been dismissed some afternoon, a stranger should Walk into Southwest High School, he would see the halls, now clean and bare: he could look into the empty classrooms: he might notice the gleaming trophies, the colorful murals, and time pictures of alumni honored in tile Hail of Fame. All tiiese he could see, Without catching a true glimpse of Southwest. The halls and classrooms are only the settings: the murals and trophies can merely be memorials of things past, for those of us who graduate leave only our names and a few vagrant memories.
