We are preparing ourselves to help when our turn comes. We are conscious oft a deeper than ordinary significance in the activities which are part of our education. We know that they also serve who only stand and wait, but that soon there will be end to waiting, when we shall go forth to serve in more specific ways. Meanwhile, in this book, we have tried to portray life as we at Southwest know it.
