In the senior division Dave Nicholson won the shot put, and Don Jones and Ed Kuster placed fourth in low hurdles and pole vault respectively. The juniors did most of the scoring with twenty- one points. Jerry Gleason took first in the shot put while George Galakatos placed second in the broad jump and third in low hurdles. Also Larry Buffington took second in pole vault. The team captains, Don Jones and Norman Koons, say that the outlook for the 1957 team is good. since over half of the lettermen will be re- turning. Letters were awarded to nine seniors and seven juniors on the 1956 team. The track team, one of the oldest athletic organ- izations in the school, has been in existence ever since the school opened.
