It is composed of a representative and an alternate from each advisory group. These are elected by the members of a given group. Its officers, chosen from the senior body, are students who have been members of the council during their days as under classmen. Its pur- pose is to give the students a voice in the government of the school, to act as a unifying agent Within the student body, and to provide for the school some of the entertainment so necessary to re- lieve the monotony of the high school day. Her leading men, Rich- ard Boehme and Sylvester Sterioff have . performed their duties with admirable precisiong her minor actors and ac- tresses have Worked faithfully and Well. Now June has come, and the curtain has gone down. Of whom is this group composed? How are the members chosen? VVhat is its purpose? We have pointed out that the sponsor was well satisfied, so We may be sure the performance was wor- thy of the trust which was put in it. Probably the most outstanding enter- tainments for which it was responsible, at least from the students point of view, were the two Hello Day programs. Each of these included a bang-up aud session and later, dancing in the gym during lunch hours. Another social accomplish- ment of note was the Miss Southwest dance.
